- Choose the right venue — Avoid venues that require an exact number of attendees and/or prepaid deposits.
- Make your event look good — Choose a beautiful, real, and high-quality picture for your event cover image and add a short but informative description to your activity.
- Keep an eye on the sign-ups — Remember that registrations are an expression of interest in your event. You can expect that, on average, 30 to 50% of the sign-ups will be actual attendees on the date.
- Stay in touch — Ask for members’ attendance confirmation before the event and say “thank you for coming” after. This personal approach can benefit your activities.
- Know the guidelines — Make sure your event follows the Activity Guidelines and ensure there is no other activity already posted in the group for the same date.
